Questions: How are blog comments handled?

Hello there,

I’m very much on the fence with MODx. I very much would rather use MODx over Wordpress but blogging (primarily the comments) is a very central aspect of my website. One of the major reasons for this is how well MODx handles media. How are comments managed and, in your opinion, is the system solid?

If you’re looking to use MODx for a robust blogging platform, you may also wish to implement Echo or Disqus (even if you decide to go with Wordpress, too!).

Never seen (or heard) the Echo before! I can’t see a demo though!?
Is the webpage not working or is it me?

Well yes, that’s true. I phrased my question poorly. I wonder more about how Jot is handled database side. As in does jot have it’s own table for comments etc or is it just tossed in randomly? I looked myself and am still trying to figure all the tables out.

Out of curiosity, does Echo have any major advantage over Disqus? I’ve used Disqus before and it works great but I have no real "attachment" to it.

And one further question, is there any way to sort posts in "order of posted" or the like?
