Hi Guys,
ran into the same (Evo 1.0.4) with very little obvious reasons why the export should not work.
Right before giving up I changed two server settings: PHP Version from 5.2.9 up to 5.3.3 and additionally set the php value date.timezone (date.timezone = "Europe/Berlin" in my case). I can not really see how that might have changed things but then the export worked as expected.
