    Hello,

I just installed Evolution and seemingly had no problems. However, when I login into manager I am redirected to www.site.com/gs-bin/manager

I have no gs-bin. Using the back button I’m able to go right into manager but I cannot for the life of me find where this "gs-bin" value is coming from. I scrubbed the DB looking for the location and couldn’t find anything. Has anyone run into this?

    • Does your server include a Tomcat installation? Tomcat also uses a "manager" directory, and can conflict.

Not that I’m aware of. I’ve installed MODx (pre-Evo) on many domains using the same server before and not had this problem. The servers run Apache.

Do you think I can solve this in the htaccess?

        • Try clearing your browser cache. I don’t see how that could be doing something like this, but it’s always worth a try.

Well....ok so I went ahead and reinstalled it right before I saw your response smiley

Something fixed it. I now have a fresh clean install of Evo. Thanks for your quick response.
