Modx 1.0

Just ran install of new package - there are two minor things I could do with help with, first the manager interface keeps breaking out of its frame in Firefox each time I go to a section like chunks etc. I need to refresh the browser each time I make a change.

Secondly, how do you turn the web based editor off? I looked in the documentation but could not find any information, and the configuration settings are not very clear.

You mean the front-end editor that appears when you are logged in the manager? That’s the plugin QM+...just disable it the normal way plugins are disabled.

If you’re talking about the rich text editor, you can go to Tools -> Configuration, and the Interface and Features tab, and turn off the Rich Text radio buttons.
