Doc Manager not working

Hello,

when I try to start the Doc Manager, I get the following error:

[tt]Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ’(’, expecting ’}’ in /homepages/24/d12326103/htdocs/content/assets/modules/docmanager/classes/dm_backend.class.php on line 77[/tt]

Anybody else having this?

Hi,

I’ve changed line 77 to:

$sql = "UPDATE $this->modx->getFullTableName('site_content') set menuindex=" . $key . " WHERE id=" . $id;

and right now Doc Manager starts just with headings: Change template, Template Variable, ....
but there is no content to select.

The correct fix is:

$sql = "UPDATE " . $this->modx->getFullTableName('site_content') . " set menuindex=" . $key . " WHERE id=" . $id;

I think the above is the only instance which will need to be fixed, but I’ve not had chance yet to have a proper scan through to make sure.

Unfortunetly, this fix didn’t help sad

Any more ideas, where could be the problem?

Hi Luke, any clues being output to your PHP error log? There maybe another issue affecting DocManager on your install.

Well in my installation, it is all the same. I do not get the error message from my original post, but just as lx, I only see empty tabs with no content.

I’m getting empty tabs in DocManager too. I added error_reporting(E_ALL); to the top of dm_backend.class.php and got a long list of notices:

Is this information even slightly useful?

The tab contents seem to be populated with javascript, so maybe it’s a js problem?

I have the same issue

At first the error message
Then change line 77 as suggested
Now just get the tab headers but nothing in the tabs

Doesn’t help in the long run, but if you replace assets/docmanager with the version from 0.9.6.3 and change the module code to the old version then it seems to work (just some small styling issues)
