Limited Editor role

I just played with the modx 1.0.1 version.
I made an username under Editor role, then login back.
Create New Resource, typed there and here, in Resource parent 0 (My MODx Site).
And when tried to save, there came the javascript notification: "You do not have permission to create or move a Resource here! Please choose another location."

Uhm,
Please remind me, why does the Editor can have "create New Resource" access, while he/she doesn’t have permission to save afterward? ACL misconfiguration?

Under Tools > Configuration, on the User tab, is "Allow root" set to Yes?

I’m guessing you have "Allow Root" set to No in Tools | Configuration | User tab. If so, the user could save the file if it wasn’t in the root of the site (or if you set "Allow Root" to Yes).

so the editor should create the new page under an existing (and allowed access) container.
BUT, editor can edit the container’s field.

Another funny thing,
Now I can’t edit (the content field is gone), either with admin nor editor role.
Should I change mm’s settings?

I would disable MM temporarily and clear the MODx cache and browser cache/cookies -- if it’s gone, and it comes back when you re-enable MM, you know it’s a MM issue.

It was exactly the problem.

I don’t know how to fix it, so I just describe other ways:
Each time after the javascript pop-up runs, then the content field is gone.
You won’t be able to see it again either with admin or editor role.
You have to disable-reload the mm-plugin.

Ok, this time another bug report:
In editor role, if I made a content with Editor role, then the Site Tree icons were missing.

But after it’d been edited again by admin role, the icons showed up (in the example pic: test again (3)).
