0.9.6.3 straight to Evolution 1.0.1

    I don’t think the upgrade touches the config.inc.php file (other than to read it, of course);
    it added
    $database_connection_method = 'SET CHARACTER SET';

    in my case...upgrade from 0.9.6.1p2 -> Evo1.0.1

    and filled in the details of 
    database_connection_charset
    which was empty before
