MODx 1.01 - problem after installation

Hi

After a new installation I get the following information down on the site:

MODx encountered the following error while attempting to parse the requested resource:
« PHP Parse Error »

Error: Unknown: open(/var/lib/php/session/sess_kpt2s23e6gr7f05s01ku0gtuv2, O_RDWR) failed: Permission denied (13)

The other thing is that I cannot log in the backend, there is a message that I have used wrong login-dates, which is not true at all!

On earlier occasions with older versions of MODx (1.0) I never had any problems with this hosting company.

Can someone help?

MODx thinks /var/lib/php/session/ is where session data is stored at your host. Either it doesn’t exist, or more likely, you don’t have write permission for it.
