[Resolved] Upgraded...but won't reflect 1.0.1

Did the upgrade from 1.0 to the 1.0.1, but it still reflects 1.0.0 on the upper right, and I don’t see any changes. Meta info area same tab, no ManagerManager, etc.

I downloaded soon after the update posted, but Ryan mentioned that it was still pointing to the older release. Re-download and try again.

i think i’m having the same kind of issue, i just upgraded to 1.0.1 (downloaded the files a couple hours ago today - 10/26/2009), and when i click:

Reports -> System Info it lists:

MODx version
Version codename rev 5948
phpInfo() View
Access permissions Enabled

so it’s not still listing v1.0.0, it’s not listing any version at all. everything seems to be working fine (LOVE the new quick editor), so this isn’t a huge deal, just wondering why it doesn’t reflect the current version, as i’m sure some point down the line i’ll forget what version i have installed and look there for the answer only to find it blank...

any ideas???

You will find the version number on the top right corner of the manager
Your revision looks good for 1.0.1.

ahhhh... okay, was the version number always listed in the upper right?? probably was and i just didn’t notice it. i DO see 1.0.1 in the upper right now, next to the logout link.

should it also be appearing under Reports -> System Info? or should that just be blank like it is now?

Not 100% sure, but I think it should Doesn’t display for me too in System Info.

not to totally hijack the purpose of this tread, but i absolutely LOVE the first few changes i have noticed in 1.0.1.

1) the moving of "Access permissions" to it’s own tab when editing is great, as i don’t think i’ve ever edited content and permissions at the same time, so separating them is great

2) the new quick manager that hides itself on the front end is great, i’m very used to disabling the quick manager at the start of a project since it usually covers up a large portion of my header, so i’ve always just disabled it and turned it back on later, now i can just leave it

3) new icons for documents that are not containers, just changing up the icons a little bit makes it much easier to find pages in the tree

i’m sure i’ll come across more as i use it, but those are the first couple things i noticed right away and loved.

Good find, Slush Puppy. I’ve updated the System Info page and will commit it to SVN shortly (after creating a ticket in Jira first - please don’t be shy about using the bug tracker!).

kind of new to upgrading modx (new company, new role), with small fixes like this, can you download/replace single files? or do you download the entire zipped/tarred package and run the domain.com/install process again??
