    Hi everyone.

    I was having the generic file upload error "Failed to upload file, internal error...", when uploading a file over 2MB.
    After reading through a few forum topics, I found a very simple solution.
    So I’m just posting this new topic with a more descriptive title, for future Searchers to stumble upon smiley

    PHP defaults 2MB maximum upload filesize.

    You can increase this limit by setting (in php.ini);

    upload_max_filesize xM

    If you don’t have access to php.ini, you should be able to set in .htaccess, by adding the following;

    php_value upload_max_filesize xM

    Where "xM" is your new filesize limit of course.

    Other PHP settings which limit file uploads are;

    • max_execution_time - Defaults to 120 seconds
    • post_max_size - Defaults to 8MB

    Cheers
