I’m not sure the origin of this, but it seems that, while operating in the backend, I often need to refresh the page I’ve just gone to. For instance, let’s say I’ve clicked on a tab, or I’ve just hit ’save’ for something and the application has reloaded. Often times (but not every time), the page will finish loading, but will show mostly a white empty page. The top tabs, header area of the page are there...the footer of the browser shows that the page is done loading, but the main area of the page is white and empty. I then hit the ’refresh’ button on my browser and the page then comes in fine.

This happens with various browsers (Firefox 3.6.13, IE 8, Latest Opera (latest version, whatever that is)) but they all experience same thing. My cache is cleared on all.

Doesn’t prevent me from doing my job, but it’s kind of annoying. Anyone experienced this? I’ve reinstalled the app and the problem is still there. Is this correctable?

    Thanks in advance.

I’ve not had this issue myself. It often reloads but it has always given me the workspace again.

Maybe something went wrong during the installation?
Here’s a few things you can try:
      - Check the error.log (Reports -> Error.log or /core/cache/logs/error.log) and see if there’s any errors in there. Report back if there are.
      - Re-run setup. Or better yet: update to 2.0.6 released yesterday.
      - If it’s doing that all the time, you can try re-enacting the behaviour while running the NET tab of Firebug to see if there’s any errors popping up in POST requests, or any 404 not found pages/files.

If I were to guess what’s wrong, I’d say there are some files missing from the upload/install. Or something I didn’t notice has been fixed since 2.0.4.
