    Hi all!

I use MODx Revolution 2.0.5 and Apache/2.2.14 (Ubuntu)
I’m trying to enable SEF URLs, but I have no success.
    Look at this...

    rewrite_module is enabled:
    root@:~# apache2ctl -t -D DUMP_MODULES | grep rewrite
    rewrite_module (shared)
    Syntax OK

    modx setting friendly_urls is enabled

    .htaccess file content (without comments):

    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteBase /md
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
    RewriteRule ^(.*)$ index.php?q=$1 [L,QSA,NC]

    Each page have alias.
    But I can’t open sitename/alias page.

    Apahe log file:
[Mon Dec 20 13:04:41 2010] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] File does not exist: /var/www/md/sss
[Mon Dec 20 13:21:29 2010] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] File does not exist: /var/www/md/sss.html, referer: http://127.0.0.1/md/manager/?a=30&id=2

    Where is a problem?

      You’re working in a subdirectory?

I think you need to do /md/ (trailing slash) in the rewritebase.

Try visiting a page in your website by using index.php?id=1 and make sure that page creates a link to another page using [[~2]] to see if the links are made correctly. Click that link. If it isn’t working as expected report back.
