We have a quite big site, and we want some people to take care of parts of it.
In an extreme example, I want to give to one person the rights to edit only one page.
So I made a User Group, a Page Group, assign the person to the User Group, assing the page to the Page Group, and then link them.
Suppose that this page is not at the first level of the tree, but deeper (i.e., third level).
When I log with that person account, I can’t see the page that he can edit, simply because I have to give permission to edit every parent of that page to him.
Is that true? Is this the correct way of MODx of handling Permissions?
How can I modify this to be "parent independent"?

In MODx Revolution 2.x, you can solve the problem by giving the user the right to "see" the documents above, but not to edit them. I don’t think there’s an easy fix for this in 1.0.2 (though I could be wrong).
Grr I can’t use Revo, we have to go to production in March...
Anyone has got a solution?
