jquery 1.4

is there any reason not to replace the jquery that comes with 1.0.2 with the new 1.4? there seem to be significant performance benefits in the new version.

If it works, then go for it.

Report back either way, be useful to know

if i place a link to the google url for 1.4 will that override the 1.3.2 that comes with the modx base install, or do i have to remove that from the js folder?

Should work if you comment out the links to the local copy and add the links to the Google remote hosted copy.
