Probems with SMF integration

    Hello,

    I have been using SMF Connector 1.0 in order to integrate modx 1.0.2 with SMF 1.x forum.

    After the successful installation of both I was not able to install SMF Connector 1.0 succesfully.

    Setup will now attempt to setup the database:

Creating connection to the database: OK!

Selecting database `xxx`: OK!

Module:

  SMF Connector: Installed

Plugin:

  SMFConnect: Installed


Fatal error: Call to a member function getFullTableName() on a non-object in D:\Hosting\xxxxx\html\manager\processors\cache_sync.class.processor.php on line 107



    I wonder if the SMF connector is the right software for integration after all. Is there something more uptodate out there? I really wonder how this forum in integrated with modx.

      I think there’s more problems with the SMF connector since it really hasn’t been maintained for years. I think you’ll find better solutions in 2010 based on Revo, though. Welcome to MODx!
