Hello I just started learning modx. I think it’s very flexible and I was wondering if there is a method for the customer, after the website is finished, to create new articles and to refresh the site through forms like cutenews e.t.c.
The customer will choose the category of the article, the title, a small preview and the rest of the article (that it will be shown by clicking more).
Also the appearance of the article will be defined through css that developer will have created to prevent changing the appearance of the whole site.

How can I do this ? Thank you!

      Hi,
And welcome. It’s been years since I’ve seen CuteNews. There are many ways to do this, I’m sure. But the easiest thing for you to look at now, IMO, would be to simply install Evo, and when you’re given the option, install the sample site (as opposed to installing it completely bare. Then again, being clothed is OK, too). This sample site has a "blog" in it, that somewhat corresponds to what you are saying. As I recall, it has a couple fields for entering content, tags for categorizing, and a couple other things. The user would use the log-in in the sidebar, and you can set that user to be sent to their "blog entry" page. I hope that helps.

That whole "blog" thing can be installed in a "bare" site, but it’s got a lot of little gotchas which make it quite confusing, so many separate parts in it, so it’s error-prone. That’s why I usually install the sample site, grab code for stuff I need, hack where necessary, and then delete the rest.
