URL alias not stripping foreign characters

Hi all.

After upgrading from 1.0 to 1.0.2 I have an issue with special danish characters not being converted in the URL alias. In 1.0, a page with the a pagetitle of ’æøå’ would get the alias ’eoa’.

Going further, i tried to call a page ’£ & $ § £ ¢’. This page would get the alias ’£-$-§-£-¢’ and result in broken links whenever you try to link to the page.

You will need to adjust the configuration of the plugin. You’ll probably want the "common" setting. Transalias now can allow for full UTF8 URLs. Go to Elements > Plugins > Transalias > Configuration tab and tweak as needed.

So did you find a way to tweak it?

I’ve tried using common and lower case alpha numeric, but it still does not change æøå.

Anything else I should be aware of?

Nevermind... It works with the common table, but I just need to update the old document aliases.
