My boss has been trying to login as a User Admin and after a problem a few weeks ago with his login, it seems to have reappeared. His computer is only a few weeks old and I’m not sure he’s tried to access the Manager since getting it. He enters his correct username and password and the screen simply returns to the login page. I’ve tried from my computer and his credentials work. I set him up with a new User Admin logon and he has the same problem. I’m waiting for him to calm down before I suggest trying the ’forgotten password’ option that others have mentioned on here as getting it to work, but just to be clear, I can access the Manager screen through my own login credentials and his, and no other Manager users have had a problem - just my boss (typical!).
What would be causing this and how can I fix it?
What browser and version is he using?
Same as me: Firefox 3.6.10
Any weird Firefox addons or plugins. Ask him to install Chrome and try again. If it works it’s a Firefox issue.
