Is this the correct behavior for friendly urls?

Hi,

I’m using friendly urls with simple paths and no duplicated alias allowed.

Say I’ve got this page:

http://www.mydomain.it/a/b/c/d.html

if I write http://www.mydomain.it/d or http://www.mydomain.it/d.html it redirects me with a 301 status to http://www.mydomain.it/a/b/c/d.html

is this the correct behavior or I got this by a miracle or whatever? :-D

I have to say that I switched to not using simple paths for about 5 minutes, then I return to use them.

I bet you’re agree that the path’s structure is actually a virtual folder, since MODx processes parent-child connection by ID joins with programming.
When it reads d.html, it’ll crawl its parent-IDs and creates the structure of it.

So I guess, it’s not miracle, just smart.
