Rich Text Editor has broken after 102 - 103 upgrade

Hi all

I just did an upgrade from evo102 to 103 and all went fine apart from the Rich Text Editor has stopped working.
All Resource content and tv’s which previously had rich text editor are now showing non-rich/plain html and all of the RTE tools/buttons have disappeared, even though Rich text is still selected in the resource settings tab.

All snippet upgrades/overwrites were selected in the upgrade, and in the manager Plugins list T-MCE shows as version 3.3.2 so presumably it updated during the install.

Should I re upload/overwrite TinyMCE again ?

Some info/history:
- for this upgraded i migrated the site db from MySQL 4 to 5 - could this cause a quirk?
- I have previously upgraded TinyMCE in this site from 2.1.2 to 3.2.0.1 - could this have left some ’residuals’ causing the current problem?
(there were problems with the RTE and the resource browser which were remedied by an overwrite)

I just upgraded a totally different site which uses the same host - 1and1 - and the same thing has happened: no RTE

I use the ’Alternate Method’ to upgrade outlined in the Wiki - http://wiki.modxcms.com/index.php/Upgrading_Guide - so rolled back the install and RTE has reappeared.

But even with the rolled back version I can see that TinyMCE has been upgraded to 3.3.2 - so it seems the Evo103 upgrade isn’t hooking up with the RTE ...

Can anyone advise here please???

What browser are U using? I’ve got the same result on Internet Explorer 7.
If I’m on FF, it’s OK.

Have only used FF as yet

Thanks a million for that, i’ll hit it soon, but the rollback has gone mad now so i need to clean up first. Bit of a nightmare - i’ll let you know how this goes soon.

i have a similar problem after the upgrade.

If i just enable the tinymce advanced theme the toolbars dissapear, when set to custom it seems to work.

But more annoyingly in every browser except firefox the linklist option is gone all together.

Have checked in ie6,7 & 8, FF, Opera, Chrome, Safari, and all have the same result, no RTE ... gonna keep digging for now - out of interest, i’m thinking of rolling back tinymce to an older version (but am a bit wary right now), has anyone tried that yet?

I got half the problem sorted by rolling RTE back to 3241, but now resource browser is not working ...

I have a similar issue, Tiny works, image browser works, but file browser does not work. If I hit create folder it creates the folder, I can see it in FTP, but it does not show in the file browser window. All paths seem to be OK but no files/folders show. Any ideas?
