Two of my customers 1.04 sites have suddenly gone down because their web host (cwcs.co.uk) has upgraded their servers to run php 5.3. MODx, as far as I can make out, runs 5.2.3 so both sites are down, displaying the message, ’MODx is not currently installed or the configuration file cannot be found. Do you want to install now?’.
I have cwcs investigating, but does this sound right? Is MODx running a down level of php? Should it run 5.3?
Grateful for an insight from anyone.

Runs fine on 5.3 — sounds like something went wrong when they upgraded because it now cannot find the MODX configuration file.
Jason, thanks for reply. It was indeed something to do with their changeover. Performed advanced install and both sites back up.
