Configuration error: 'GD and/or Zip PHP extensions not found'

Hi all,

I have a known warning: GD and/or Zip PHP extensions not found.

I already found a work-a-round to remove the warning:

My question is: My webhosting provider doesn’t want to install the Zip extension. The systems works well but I’m not confident about it. Can this configuration (the extension disabled) harm my modxcms security, or am I likely to get other issues?

Nearly all of my Modx sites display that warning. Although it can be a nuisance, I just ignore it. The lack of those extensions won’t affect your base installation or site security.
