First of all let me say that I’m not positive that this is a MODx issue so I apologize in advance for posting about it here if it’s not.
The issue I’m running into is that deep linking isn’t working on my site. All my pages are loaded via AJAX and they work fine if you use the navigation to get to them but if I try to link directly to any of them I get an error in the console that says failed to load resource. See for yourself. Note: the site doesn’t work in IE yet so you’ll need to use FireFox or a Webkit browser.

I’m kinda stumped. The URL it’s trying to load from is identical and as far as I can tell all the headers are the same, it just doesn’t work unless you use the nav. It was working fine until I set up the blog too. I must have broken something but I don’t know what. Any insight is appreciated. Thanks!

Further testing seems to indicate that the request never completes. I set a callback that executes console.log(response) and it works fine when the page loads properly but it never fires when I try to deep link.

I managed to work around the issue by setting a half second delay on the deep link loading. I’m not sure why that’s necessary but it’s an acceptable solution.
