{solved}file upload error: disallowed file type (only as editor, not admin)

hi there

i can use the file upload as administrator, but not as editor. even though file type should be ok (nothing special to upload, just jpg, png and so on).

i can create folders as editor, so i guess permissions are all right. but i can’t see images uploaded with the administrator account in the filebrowser.

at the moment the installation is running on ubuntu server with full access.

i saw a solution for 0.9.6 but not for 1.0.4:

it looks that the configuration slightly changed since that release.

hope anyone can give me some advice where to look.

solved it my self, the problem was the lack of understanding the user config

in the user manager i found the second tab, which actually defines the file manager permissions, actually exactly as described here:

i was looking in the manager configuration not in the one of the user, maybe it helps someone. i would suggest to make error messages more clear.
