I’m having problems with characters output everywhere where I use PHP... Like output from Google Weather and DittoCal.
I’m using &setLocal=`hr_HR` for the language and it scrambless characters like Č,ć,Š,š
Example in DittoCal:
- Èet (should be Čet)
- Sijeèanj 2011 (should be Siječanj 2011)
Example in weather forecast (from Google)
- Ki¹a (should be Kiša)
- Moguæ (Moguć)
- Sunèano (Sunčano)
Any ideas how to fix this?

Are you using proper HTML encodings?
Ex: é should be written é for a valid cross-browser output.

I’m using UTF-8
Maybe this helps...
Č = Č
č = č
Š = Š
š = š

Are you sure that all the tables and fields in the DB are also set to UTF-8?
If they’re not, see this before doing anything:
