Manage Files > "Access denied!"

Just been playing with my installation of 1.0.4 everything has been working as expected except when I go to "Manage Files" I get "Access denied!"

I installed the same way I usually do, as with previous versions. The file permissions and owner are the same as for other version installs.

Any ideas?

Is no one else getting "Access Denied" for the file manager?

Have you checked if filemanager paths are correct in site config?

Yes, i’ve checked in "Configuration" > "File Manager" and the path is correct.

Any other ideas?

Do you have version 1.0.3 on same server working fine without Access Denied message?

Yes, I have 1.0.3 running on the same server and the File Manager works fine on those sites, and has been for the last several months.

Web Server:
PHP Version 5.2.13 ( not sure how it’s running )
Apache/1.3.42 (Unix)


Database:
MySQL 5.0.90
No tables over 1MB in size

MODx:
Version 1.0.4
No changes made
No snippets used
No plugins running


Browser/Client:
Tried in Chrome & Firefox
Windows XP

I logged in this morning an the File Manager worked!

I have no idea how or why or what’s different, I’m sure I didn’t change anything on the server.

Baffled.

Hope it stays working, but it’s a bit disconcerting when something changes and you don’t know why.

Well, good to know it worked on its own

could be some old javascript or cookies or something cached in your browser that finally went away.
