FIXED - Could not load DBAPI class.

Hi

I have a clean 1.0.5 evo install and want to move it to a subdirectory of my filesystem.

However, when I do so, the site does not work anymore and the manager just displays the message "Could not load DBAPI class."

Permissions of my the dbapi.mysql.class.inc.php file remain unchanged when I move the project.

Do I need to change something in the config.inc.php?

Any suggestions?

Did you run install in upgrade mode after moving the files? You need to do that to straighten out the paths.

If you’ve already done that, check the paths in config.inc.php to make sure they are correct for the new location.

If you have FURLs on, you may also need to change the rewrite base in .htaccess, but check the other things first, because the rewrite base shouldn’t affect the Manager.

Tnx for the response and advice.

However, the problem solved itself! Immediately after copying via FTP, nothing worked. When I woke up this morning, everything was up and running without any additional changes or running the upgrade. It seems that my shared server still needs to do something after copying before the process is complete, although my FTP programm says everything is OK.

I will check this with my hosting provider.

Answer of my hosting provider:

We have disabled the php cache on your domain. With this, all changes made on your php files can be seen instantaneously on the browser.
