Javascript in IE9 & Modx 1.0.5

Hi,

I have 2 websites that use the same javascript effect. On the first website, the effect works fine in both IE8 and IE9. However, on the second website it only works in IE8. All the code I’ve used is exactly the same as far as I can see; the only differance is on the first website where it works I’m using Modx 0.9.6.3 and on the second where it doesn’t work is using Modx 1.0.5 and the 2 websites are hosted on different servers.

Any ideas?

At first glance, I see that you have multiple copies and more than one version of jquery being loaded. That alone may cause problems for you.

You are also using prototype, which usually doesn’t play well with jquery.

That you got it to work with any version of IE is pretty amazing Do a little cleanup with the redundant scripts and you may be good to go.
