Weird font caching issue

Ok this one making me tear my hair out LOL. Site: http://alohabottlecaps.com

Someone else did the dev, using Includes snippet instead of regular MODX templating. Template assets are in static html files, called by Includes snippet. (WHY?!?!?!?!@??!)

Everything works fine, EXCEPT when navigating to this page (yes, just this one page): http://www.alohabottlecaps.com/about-the-artist.html

the fonts fail to render, and it reverts to sans-serif. The fonts are a critical part of this design, so the designer is tearing her hair out too, but I can’t seem to fix it permanently. If I clear the MODX cache, it’s fixed, but then the problem resurfaces and won’t go away until I log in and clear the cache. HELP!!!!

Oh, if you navigate to one of the other content pages first, and then go to the offending page, it seems to work fine. Oh, and all pages use the same template files, CSS, etc. NOTHING about that page is different from the other pages that work. Oh, did I mention it only happens in FF and IE?

I’m looking for a little MODX Evo DB trick, maybe or PHP cache setting somewhere that I don’t know about...

Could you try reversing the CSS order (fonts > global)?

You might also want to address the 404 errors with the fonts.

Have you tried turn of caching on the resource. Maybe a snippet issue?

Thanks!!! I will try these suggestions tomorrow. It says something about the MODX community that I can get help before I’m even ready to act on it LOL.

Include snippet gives the possibility to use your own editor software, use your workflow and maybe versioning. You don’t have to code inside of MODX manager.
