Change template on the fly

Hi All,

Hoping someone on here will be able to help with this. We have a client requirement, to be able to swap the template of some pages on the fly. The items in question are stored within one area of the site, and have a tv set on them, that will make them visible in one of two areas of the site.

what the client wants is to be able to have is "news item 1" appear in the main news section of the site, but also to appear within the sub site (which is within the same install of modx!), simple we have done this using a ditto filter, but now they also want this news article to take on the styling of the subsite, and not the style of the main site when clicked on for more details. Any ideas?

You can use any tpl you want to display the item’s content, if you’re using Ditto. The item resource itself can also be assigned any template you like.
