Admin can't save a new user

I noticed in 1.0.4 that I couldn’t save a new user under "Manager Users" as the administrator, so I upgraded to 1.0.5. This issue is the same. I click new user and put in all the info and when I click ’save’...nothing happens.

Any idea what could be causing this? I have never had this happen before.

Update: I’ve also noticed that my "File Manager" tab is missing under Configuration. This is weird.

Sounds like some missing or corrupted files in the Manager. Also make sure to clear your browser cache and cookies.

Yes...I cleared cache and cookies. I figured upgrading to 1.0.5 would resolve the issues with the manager files (missing or corrupt), but I guess not. Do you know what file the "File Manager" tab is?

UPDATE: I noticed that I can create/save web users, but I can’t save ’manager users’. The Save button...no errors, no alerts. Can someone tell me where the Create/Edit User file is for the Manager Users?

Yes...that is what is so weird. I originally upgraded the site from 1.0.2 to 1.0.4 a while ago. Last week, I noticed I couldn’t create a new manager user, so I upgraded to 1.0.5 thinking that there was a corrupt file or something like that. Everything on the site works fine...except for that.

Weird indeed. Have you looked at the users table in the db? Do you see any strangeness there?

Yes, I thought about that too, but did not see anything there that was unusual. I guess my other option would be to rebuild in Revolution since it is a relatively small site.
