TransAlias uploading filenames

Hello. It seems I misunderstood the changelog, but I think what TransAlias since 1.0.4 should convert international chars in uploading filenames.
I can’t get it work (I test russian chars).
All that I can do is totally delete first word in russian filename and delete dots in filenames.
Changing TransAlias settings makes some changes in filenames processing rules (so I notice Trans Alias alter them) but I can’t get transliterating.

What do I do wrong?

modx 1.0.5 and 1.0.4
php 5.2 and 5.3
unix and windows
Transiterate filenames checkd in configuration section
Transalias settings:
russian
legal chars
save dots
only OnStripAlias event checked.

Uploading in Elements|Manage Files only, FCKeditor Resource Browser is still not affected by this change.

Actually (maybe it’s a bug) TransAlias settings affect filenames of FCK Resource Browser. Example: cut all dots.
