Password reset: "captcha is not configured properly"

Every time I try to reset my password via the login form, it successfully sends me a reset link via email. When I click on it I get this message:

"Captcha is not configured properly"

As far as I can see it is configured properly when I use it in the email form or to log in as another user... any ideas?

I’m using MODx Evo 1.0.5

PHP 5.2.13
MySQL version 5.0.32

The problem is caused by the captcha validation code being outside the block that runs user authentication (if a plugin hasn’t done it). The attached patch, for 1.0.5, fixes the problem by simply moving this captcha code into the user auth block. It patches manager/processors/login.processor.php
