i look arroun the demo website and have varius impressions
the submenu for the main menu is hard to read (color and font)
the space into the main menu items is strange i prefer little space but the same space and a separator like | for example.
That’s the great thing about free and GPL’d stuff, you can change it any way you like!
yes but too much people couldent do or dont want to change backend and in the upgrades (a very good freature in the modx) could be lost.
when you work quickly the submenu lost stoping the work.(could be done whith a dropdown)
now i go to opensourcecms demo and the horizontal menu is lost to show the classic layaut, but in the horizontal menu for example pic resurces and go quikly to manage resurces, you probabily lost the submenu because the cursor must be over this layer or table .
the templates couldent categoriced (the table template has a field to do it) to group diferents templates the same group for use in snipets for search or menus by the template.
hi i made a snippet who can use this you have(for example) 9 templates 3 for documents or multisite1 3 for contact or multisite 2 and 3 for help or multisite 3.
when create this template allow the modx table template category and put the same id or name to the tree groups (1or documents for the first trhee templates 2or contact for the second tree templates....)
Now you have all documents created grouped in a second kind of group and you can call it for for example a search form filtered (by a dropdown or snippet variable )

the search form not include special caracters suport
i create this snippet from the original flex search form to include special caracters in a search the work is only for spanish language éáúñ for french and another need a fiew retuch in the variables array i remark this snippet show in the search the introtext/summary instead the description because y change the summary/introtext to show an htmleditor.
