I started using 1.0.0-RC1 today. It really looks great and it seems to be loading faster for me. There’s one thing that’s catching my eye.
WHenever I’m logged in it’s constantly loading. I mean in FF it’s constantly twisting while there’s nothing it should be loading as far as I can see.
Anyone noticed this aswell?
Not in any of my installations local or remote.
What do your server logs show? Does the MODx reports -> system events indicate any problems?
It doesn’t seem to do it when I log in now....
System events only shows the config warnings (installer, config.inc.php, which I’ll fix right away while I’m at it...).
My apache error log (assuming that’s what you meant with the server log) shows no recent warnings or errors either.
Odd it’s not constantly spinning now... It could have been my internet and that it was actually loading something (what, I don’t know :S)...
When it pops up again I’ll post again and hopefully I’ll have a better idea how it happened then.
Something is odd, either with Evo or FF.
I was messing around on my site today (FF 3.5/ Mac.), and when I went from the Manager tab to the site home page tab (which was already opened before I logged in to the manager to fix something) refreshed the page, and the entire page was acting like one huge link to the manager tab I had just switched from.
Everywhere on the page except for links in the content or menus was the "hand" cursor, and the URL at the bottom of the browser window was the full URL for the manager actions on the other tab. Very disconcerting.
Nothing in the page source ("view source") to account for such a thing. Once I moved off the page, then went back to it the effect was gone. I can’t get it to do it again, either.
