Advice Photo Gallery website

Hi,

Is it possible to make a multiple photo gallery website on which every photo is a static page (for SEO purpose) like in sxc.hu and flickr.com?

The problem is that with Evo there is the 5000 documents limit which in this way would be very easy to reach. Would the "system" which I have stated above work on Revolution?

Yes, definitely. I have such a site, and it’s working well in Revolution: www.freenaturepictures.com.

I made my own gallery setup for just the reason you stated. One page per photo is definitely good SEO.

My site is only managed by one user (me), and doesn’t have UGC, whereas it sounds like that’s what you’re going for. However, I would think that, with some configuration of contexts and permissions, it would be possible to set up such a thing in Revolution. I would be very surprised if it’s not possible. It will, however, involve quite a bit of custom development.

I’m not certain I understand what you mean about the container folder, but if you’re talking about using urls like example.com/folder1/folder2/doc.html vs. example.com/doc.html, that’s just a system setting for FURLs. You don’t need anything different in .htaccess.
