    Hello evereone!

Several days ago I found the following problem with my site http://tier1-visa.ru. When I try to validate it on validator.w3c.org it returns error. "500 EOF when chunk header expected" (see here (see here: http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.tier1-visa.ru&charset=(detect+automatically)&doctype=Inline&group=0)). The same error accurs when I try to add ads in Yandex.Direct. But I can see any page in any browser. More over, If i try to validate pages in domain that outside modx i.e. http://tier1-visa.ru/webalizer/ it passed normally, without errors (see here: http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.tier1-visa.ru/webalizer/&charset=(detect+automatically)&doctype=Inline&group=0)
I don’t change DNS settings in last month.
    My hoster is IXwebhosting.
    I’m run modx 0.9.6.1p2

Is any solution for this issue?

Looks like something odd in your DNS settings. Ask your hosting support about it.

I think about wrong DNS settings but:
        1. as I wrote above links in domain that outside modx pass validation
        2. domains in my account, without modx works fine
        3. other domains running modx (0.9.6.x) doesn’t pass validation (for example http://londonelit.co.uk)
        4. but domain running modx (0.9.5) http://www.eurostaffjobs.com pass validation!

        Very strange situation!

What’s weird is that the browser reports http response code 200 = OK. Only the validator reports the error.

In an older 0.9.6 version there was a plugin (Search Highlight) which caused 500 headers - but that has been fixed/removed. It was missing a ; at the end of a line. But I don’t think this is the culprit here, since browsers don’t complain about it.

            Latest news smiley

As I see in System Event, some error occurs in quick_Editor module, sorry, I don’t understand exactly what’s happend , If I not mistaken some problem with language file and this module doesn’t load.

So, I try to upgrade to modx-0.9.6.2-rc2, but nothing changed.

When I downgrade to modx 0.9.5 and now all works fine.

I had an Error 500 just today.
I think it was caused by me
placing a .htaccess file in the htdocs folder,
don’t know why I put it there but
once I took it out everything went back to normal.

The URL you provided to w3c is invalid. You need to begin your parameters with a question mark instead of an ampersand.

                This works: http://www.tier1-visa.ru?doctype=inline/

                This doesn’t: http://www.tier1-visa.ru&doctype=inline/
