My next MODx plugin, PrettyGallery

So after creating nivoGallery and learning tons I am going to start working on my next plugin, PrettyGallery since it seem’s like there’s a need for yet another easy gallery solution.

I am going to port this over to MODx with customized options via a TV tab similar to nivoGallery.

Let me know what you guys think or if theres another gallery solution you think might be a good extra for MODx.

Tomorrow I will be submitting PrettyGallery to the MODx Repo I just need to put the finishing touches on the documentation just thought I’d let you guys know

One feature that would be convenient is to have the possibility for a visitors to register and
send his own photos to a personal gallery. It should have the possibilité to have custums fields (i.e Name, Email, Tel) and for
legend and maybe even coments.. number max of pictures, size..captcha..

Is that get you rolling on ?

That is out of the scope of this plugin, seems like you need something else entirely.

You can do all of that stuff with a custom form and use PrettyGallery to display the images uploaded by the user.

i install PrettyGallery, apply template and i have selected the gallery but the result is the blanck page.

@cristianb88 do you have a link I can check or are you working locally?

Make sure you have the IF extra installed, if your working locally do a view source and post it here so I can check what might be causing the issue.

When is prettygallery coming for 2.2?

@MrReal prettyGallery should work with 2.2 let me know if it doesn't.
