I wish it would be much easier to move a MODX Revolution setup to another server. Especially when it comes from a subfolder to the root directory while moving it is much more complex. And i you’re using Gallery snippet you have to reconfigure this via system settings, too.
It would be great to just re-enter the new path once(!) in the /core/config.inc.php (not twice, etc. or in other config.inc.php-files or in DB). Maybe this could be added for special cases additionally but by default I think it should be much more easy.
I don’t know about the extra’s thing but maybe there can also be a alternate solution for the path settings?
