problem with "Custom Manager Pages"

i create new "Custom Manager Pages" using SMARTY, and everything works almost perfect.
almost...
when i open my new CMP for first time(for example after clearing cache) left menu box don’t show up. I think it’s not becouse of anything i have wrong in my template or controller file, i clear content of files and problem still exist. Maybe i missed something, but don’t know what.
i’m using MODx Revolution 2.0.7-pl.

I think i can help you. Came towards the same. The problem for me was an empty line at the bottom of my language file. Don’t know why but killing those whitespaces from the end of the language file sealed the deal.

Hope it works. (be sure to clear the cache )

i checked what you suggest and i remove every empty line in my language file(and for sure in every other file), but problem still exist

Are you sure that your CMP causes the problem? I would suggest to install a new modx somewhere and then install you CMP there. To see if your CMP causes the problem.

now i upgrade modx to version 2.0.8-pl but situation is still the same. I allready try it on another server with the same result.
Today i make some experiment, i put to my tpl only "hello world" and to my controller file only

and still when i refresh after clearing cache left menu don’t display.
I think answer is very simple but i can’t see it
Any idea what is going on?
