    Hi,

    did someone has tried to setup furl on a local wamp install ?

    I’m not able to make the .htacess working. (no pb for years with Evo...)

    Asap I uncomment the what everyone tell to do , I get an internal 500 error.
    I added in the test tpl <base href="[[!++site_url]]" />

    and made what is descrided here http://rtfm.modx.com/display/revolution20/Using+Friendly+URLs
    except the domain part as it’s on only localhost.

    What’s wrong ?

    Thank you

      Hello

      I got FURL working fine on local WAMP install...
      Nothing special to do, just check the rewrite base in your .htaccess is "/yourfolderinstall" (no slash at the end), assuming your folder is under C:/wamp/www/yourfolderinstall

      In Revo Manager be sure you’ve
      • Use friendly Alias path
      • Use friendly Aliases
      • Use friendly URLs
      (settings in page 2 of 5 in System Setting on empty install)
      all checked to Yes...

      Cheers

        The exclamation mark is wrong:
        [tt]<base href="[[!++site_url]]" />[/tt] should be
        [tt]<base href="[[++site_url]]" />[/tt]

          hmmm.

          Thank you all, BUT

          asap I did this (I actually already did when I post) even the manager is lost with 500 error.
          I use the very last 2.03 found last week.

            basic and stupid question but have you set aliases on your resources ? If alias is empty the url shows the ID I guess...
            Cheers

              No, the ! should be there, in case you move the site that it wont keep the site_url in the cache.
