I am beginning to set up a site for a client in Revo. I am a lightweight MODx user (been using for the past 3 years or so) setting up sites for friends/family, and I have very little exposure to Revo, so forgive me if I have made a rookie error here.

Steps to reproduce:
1. (This is a fresh, default installation of MODx Revo) Overwrote the default template with my own (renamed it), and changed the basic resource fields on the single resource (no content).
2. Went to the package manager and downloaded/installed the "soft" manager theme.
3. Changed the following 2 settings per instructions:
- compress_css = no
- manager_theme = soft
After making the changes and refreshing, the manager theme is correctly updated. However when I edit my resource all fields are blank, and adding them back in and saving appears to work, but refreshing the resource renders the fields blank again.
When I change the manager theme back to the default, the resource fields are then visible/restored. Not sure if this is a bug with the theme itself or how Revo handles back end theming.
Here are some errors from error.log but I’m not sure they’re relevant as the theme appeared to install correctly and function other than the resource fields
