Another question I have about Revolution is which forum is the main forum for Revolution?
Is there a list of forums for Revolution? As I was shifting through the list of forums I happen to also notice the ModxExpo forum where you also posted. I guess I am so used to checking the Core Code/MODX Next forum that I have overlooked other Revolution forums.
no prob. I think right now the forums are kinda potluck, hodge podge, and revolution stuff is in a bunch of them alongside evo questions. I believe, at some point after gc release of revo, there is a plan to reorganize the forums, so having to look though them all for revo posts is temporary.
I personally tend to stick to adding my own revo questions in the ’revolution 2.0’ section so they’ll be easier to find/move later on, but I do have some in the ’third party integrations’ section too, when they aren’t specifically about revo, and a few in the ’xPDO’ section about data access.
The other thing that I find handy when looking for revo posts, is using the ’
show unread posts since your last visit’ link up at the top right of the forums. That always keeps me from having to actually dip into all the forums and look for new posts. I can just skim/click through them from one spot. Much faster/easier when trawling for revo posts. (and don’t forget to ’mark all messages read’, once you’re done skimming them, so they don’t show up again next time you look for the unread posts.)
