Just for fun, and seeing as I did this last year(21/01/09) I’ve run the SLOC counter over the revo 2.0 branch(r6413), headlines are :-

Totals grouped by language (dominant language first):
    javascript: 78952 (52.01%)
    php: 72805 (47.96%)
    pascal: 36 (0.02%)

This represents a whopping 49% increase in JS and a more modest 7% for PHP. Most of the JS increase probably came in Ext3 I guess.
Still got 36 lines of Pascal!! Cost is now $5,217,764.

Full output for bean counters :-

Totals grouped by language (dominant language first):
    javascript: 78952 (52.01%)
    php: 72805 (47.96%)
    pascal: 36 (0.02%)

Total Physical Source Lines of Code (SLOC) = 151,793
    Development Effort Estimate, Person-Years (Person-Months) = 39.03 (468.30)
    (Basic COCOMO model, Person-Months = 2.4 * (KSLOC**1.05))
    Schedule Estimate, Years (Months) = 2.16 (25.87)
    (Basic COCOMO model, Months = 2.5 * (person-months**0.38))
Estimated Average Number of Developers (Effort/Schedule) = 18.10
Total Estimated Cost to Develop = $ 5,271,764
    (average salary = $56,286/year, overhead = 2.40).

Now I’m dying to know about SPForm. I suspect it may be more expensive than Formit and it will be something I can brag about to my mom. wink

              Schedule Estimate, Years (Months) = 0.27 (3.21)
              (Basic COCOMO model, Months = 2.5 * (person-months**0.38))

SPForm is more complex as you suspected so you can tell your mom that you’ve done $105,329’s worth of development for revo!
