How to move a site to a different directory

Hello all,

I have had a test site located inside of a test directory and I am ready to move the site to the root of the domain. I tried just copying it straight out but it will not let me log into the manager even though it will show up.

What is the right way to move a site to a different directory. I am using the latest version of ModX Revolutions?

Especially check your .htaccess file; if it had a RewriteBase of /subdirectory you’ll need to change that to just /

I have the site moved, site comes up good(http://www.usmcgraduations.com/index.php) but i can’t log into my manager. It just gets stuck in a loop and comes up over and over when you try to log in.
