Extra friendly urls

Hi MODx team. If it possible, can you explain how you realized furls on modxcms.com site.
I mean something like this:

This is done using Apache’s mod rewrite since the Extras on modxcms.com is a Custom 3rd Party Component. So a set of rewrite rules were set up in the .htaccess file for the site to build the human friendly urls.

In fact it is very similar to how the built in friendly URLs is handled in MODx itself but just a custom rule for the particular path.

There are lots of great resources on building rewrites for Apache mod_rewrite.

Sorry, question was asked inaccurately by me. (I’m non english speaker).
I can’t understand how I can build totally nice url with MODx API and then fetch params from $_GET
Example:

$url now is with question sign.
