Problem with svn revison 6024

I have just downloaded the svn revison above on trying to install I get the following error

Checking MySQL version: Failed! - You are running on MySQL , and MODx Revolution requires MySQL 4.1.20 or later. Please upgrade MySQL to at least 4.1.20.

PHP info reports the following

mysql
MySQL Support enabled
Active Persistent Links 0
Active Links 0
Client API version 5.0.81

So I assume that I have mysql higher than the requirement but the test says it isn’t any help would be appreciated.

Your phpinfo() is reporting the client version; you need to find out the server version. If you have access to PHPMyAdmin for managing your databases, when you first open a database with it it will report the server version.

PHPMyAdmin reports Server version: 5.0.81-community-log and MySQL client version: 4.1.22

But having had previous of revo working on the same server I would have thought this on should work.

Have also tried this on a seperate server which has Server version: 5.1.37-1ubuntu5 installed same error message.
