Hi I’m wanting to add a custom manager page to the current svn of revo, i have had a look at the pages here
http://svn.modxcms.com/docs/display/~splittingred/2008/07/10/Creating+Custom+Manager+Pages+for+a+3rd+Party+Component%2C+Pt.+I but it appears that there are images missing. for example on page on it says
First off, let’s reorganize some things and create some files. (This is not the final file list, but it’s a start.) Now, if you’re thinking, "Wow, that’s a lot of files!" - don’t worry. They’re mostly all small. MODx Revolution works a lot more with smaller files to reduce load times, separate code from content and make finding portions of code easier. It also abstracts a lot more - tasks take a lot less code to do. So here’s our starting structure:
Note how we moved the model and lexicon into a "core" directory. This (a core dir) is required in Revolution to utilize custom manager functionality - it’s nearly similar to how the default manager works (sort of). We also have a few new directories with some new terminology to tackle:
And I’m guessing that there should be an image inbetween the 2 paragraphs. Could some one please point me to an upto date tutorial if one exists or give me some guidlines on how to go about it. I am trying to create a custom manger page that allows the user to post to twitter from the manager section so that once a new blog entry or page or item or anything really is added they can show this on twitter with out having to leave modx and open twitter. I have the code worked out how to post to twitter using the api i just need to work out how to create a custom manager page.
