FWIW, the first place I looked for Form Customization was under Tools. The second place was under System.

I consider the Package Management grid, the Property Set grid, and the Lexicon Management grid to be tools I use to modify the site. With respect to Namespaces, frankly, the only reason they need a section (and thus a menu item) is so you can delete them, since they can (and usually will) be created in Lexicon Management. I don’t think it makes much difference where they are although it makes sense to put them right under the Lexicon Management entry.

You could argue that the System Settings grid is also a tool, but it’s easy to remember where they are now (System menu) because of the name.

I wholly disagree; I use Namespaces almost exclusively in 3PC development, especially when you start developing CMPs.

Now, whether or not they need their own page is another issue. They do not, imo, belong in the Lexicon section. Are there other 3PC-related things we could combine?

I think you misunderstood me. I use them too. I meant that all operations with them other than deletion can be done without using the Main Menu item so, in a sense, deleting them is the only reason they need to have that Main Menu item.

In the future there will be other functionality associated with Namespaces and you should be able to manage them outside of Lexicon Management. They need their own management interface, so I’d say we need to keep it as is.
