Hosting provider disabled Options +FollowSymLinks for .htaccess file

I’m hosting a number of MODX websites with the aforesaid provider. Now that Options +FollowSymLinks is no longer allowed on .htaccess file, none of my websites work. I wonder if there’s any workaround, or do I have to completely give up using friendly urls now?

Thanks in advance for your response!

You’ll have to disable the FURLs option to get them back up, albeit without FURLs. Then, I’d start looking for a new host.
